Waiting is a trap

The duo came across a ripped note that said:
"Waiting is a trap..."
They proceeded to complete the note.

Varsha's version:
Waiting is a trap. There will always be reasons to wait. The truth is, there are only two things in life, reasons and results, and reasons simply don't count.

Nitin's version:
Waiting is a trap behind every door. Darts that shoot out of walls, flames that burst through seemingly harmless cracks in the floor, poisonous reptiles laying in the grass, waiting for their prey.

Red Shirt

I'm pretty sure that to most of you reading this article, a red shirt is just a shirt that's red. Most probably a T-shirt with or without a collar. The ones with collars might have a collar of a dark shade, while the ones without collars would have a round neck.

Err... okay, now let's not get too carried away. A red shirt is a character in a film who is destined to die shortly after being introduced. It draws it's origins from StarTrek and is probably to avoid the scenes from getting too gory for younger viewers and to get a general rating to target a larger audience.

You can read more about it at Wikipedia.

Living Retro

I wonder why people are so anti-shirt-collar-over-lapels. It looks so retro and so cool. Think Saturday Night Fever. Think John Travolta. Think Brooklyn. Think Disco.

The fashion statement made it's mark in the 1930s, was rejuvenated in the 1970s and ought to make a come-back in the 2000s. The look is a classic, when worn with the right kind of collar.

The Matrix: Hobson's Choice

When Morpheus drops a Hobson's choice on Neo in the Matrix, there was quite a bit of drama involved - the choice between the red pill and the blue pill. He could've just said, "C'mon man, do you want to know about it or not?". That added drama made it a scene to add into many rip-offs of the Matrix like the Meatrix, for instance, which is an animation that conveys the ill-effects of factory farming.
